This project involved new large two storey and single storey rear extensions plus internal alterations to a detached property. Whilst the existing property was already a decent sized dwelling, when the client purchased the property it was in need of vast improvement and modernisation. We completely redesigned the property inside and out, providing the client with a fantastic family home.
The rear extension houses a new open plan kitchen, living and dining area looking out onto the rear garden at ground floor level. These areas also link to separate utility room and children’s playroom. The downstairs area also benefits from a separate lounge with study. The space works really well, bringing the whole family together whilst at the same time providing areas that can be divided as required.
At first floor level the side extension provides an additional double bedroom and a separate family bathroom, whilst also adding a new ensuite to the master bedroom.
The exterior finishes have been completely redesigned, with the whole house benefitting from new white rendered finish throughout. The modern windows and large folding sliding doors ensure that whilst the property is extremely functionable internally, externally it is beautifully finished and can be greatly appreciated when looking upon the property whilst sitting in the garden.
