Originally from a Structural Engineering background, Chris utilised his knowledge and experience in this industry to form his own practice providing clients with detailed Architectural Drawings for residential projects including house extensions, loft conversions and internal alterations.
Chris draws on his engineering experience when redesigning and altering existing properties. This knowledge has proven invaluable when helping clients create their dream homes, whilst ensuring that the integrity of the original property is retained but sympathetically enhanced throughout the process. Chris relishes the challenges presented when updating an existing property, bringing modern contemporary design features and blending them together with more traditional house types.
CLA’s approach is particularly helpful in order to achieve high quality, innovative designs whilst also ensuring that they are cost-effective for the client.
The practice has subsequently grown in stature and reputation since it’s founding. Whilst continuing to improve and enhance existing properties, CLA also prepares new build residential properties in partnership with local developers.
