New double garage to front of existing detached property

This project involved constructing a new double garage on the front of a plot in Sawston. Whilst the existing property benefitted from a large rear garden and front driveway, the client required a new double garage to further complement the property and provide secure parking and storage.

The design of the garage improves the overall setting of the property with the largely wasted front driveway now occupied by a brilliantly finished outbuilding. The contrasting finishes of timber cladding and brickwork ensure that the garage looks and feels like so much more. It also provides a barrier between the road and the existing property.
