Garage conversion and redesigned kitchen to a modern detached property

This project involved a new garage conversion to a detached property. Whilst the existing property was very impressive the client wanted to make use of the existing garage and incorporate it seamlessly with the rest of the dwelling.

The new garage conversion provided a new beautiful kitchen, dining and living area.

As with most garage conversions, the existing wall structure and insulation values tend not to comply with building control requirements in terms of a habitable space. We updated and improved the existing structure with insulated liner walls and floors whilst also opening up the roof space to create an amazing high, vaulted ceiling.

The exterior finishes of the new extension were built in brickwork to match the existing property, ensuring that the new addition looked and felt like part of the original building.
